All I want for Christmas

                      

Every year when Christmas gets closer, Sean and I talk about “how” we want to do gifts this time. And so far every year is different. We’ve done traditional surprise gifts after shopping for each other. 

And creative stocking stuffers only.  

 And set a $20 or $30 limit before. 

This year, I said, we don’t need anything. 

"I just want to spend time with you.” 

And that sort of became the unofficial theme. 

It is still a little difficult with his 2 away tournaments right around Christmas time, but we’re taking every moment we can. It’s all about taking as much time off work as possible…

...popcorn and a movie…cider and a fire…Christmas lights and Christmas music...Pajamas and slippers...Staying up late and sleeping in... 

All while safe and warm in the comfortable confines of home. 

Together. 

A luxury we must not undervalue when there are people suffering and hearts breaking. 

We are together and we are blessed.
